Givat Haviva Collaborative Art Center
We are opening our doors for an 8 Day Residency at the Art Center at Givat Haviva in Israel. This residency is intended for professional ceramic artists who have chosen ceramics as a way of living. An opportunity to meet and get to know each other, to share ideas and views, dreams, both theoretical and practical and mainly professional experiences. This as well as to enjoy a well equipped studio, 8 days of free creating without dealing with daily chores and each others’ company. This residency is intended for International and Israeli artists.
The Ceramic section, at our center, has 3 large rooms equipped with wheels, slab rollers extruder and spray booth, a big glaze room and a kiln room with 2 large electric kilns and two smaller ones. There is a big covered porch with gas kilns, two small electric kilns, two Raku kilns and two frames for pit and smoke firings.
This residency includes: Full board, Full use of facilities, Glazes and slips and materials that are in stock
Does not include: Clay, Firings, Any specific or special materials that are not in stock
Our ceramic center is an educational facility where students come and enjoy working and learning about ceramics. There are long term courses in various ceramic subjects, clay sculpture, hand building, wheel work,
glaze technology, firings and more. We also do short term workshops in the various ceramic fields: slab building, calligraphy, model figure sculpture and more.
The Collaborative Art Center rans courses and projects also in the fields of painting, photography and silk screen printing as well as the Peace Gallery that holds exhibitions year round. For more about the Givat

We are situated half way between Haifa to the North and Tel Aviv in the center on the eastern hills of the country.
