A unique program in Israel and worldwide, which allows once a year 10 graduates of academic art institutions, Jewish and Arab, to stay in Givat Haviva for three months, experiment and develop a new body of work and at the end of the period to present the bodies of work in a group exhibition at the Givat Haviva Art Gallery.

*The program provides accommodation, food and a shared studio
*Duration of the program: 3 months, January-March 2025
The program is divided into two phases:
The first phase - three months that includes a joint stay at the Givat Haviva campus, shared living quarters, group dialogue sessions, lectures and artist meetings by the accompanying facilitators and visits to leading exhibitions throughout the country and in the Wadi Ara region, including introductions to leading artists and curators. At this stage, special emphasis is placed on creating art events for various audiences such as schools and the public. In addition, the possibility of Arabic studies is provided for the Jewish members of the group as part of the desire to reduce language and cultural gaps.
The second phase - two months in which the young artists present the bodies of work they have created in a group exhibition set up at the Givat Haviva Art Gallery in combination with events open to the public with their participation and leadership.
______________
The Joint Art Center in Givat Haviva has been operating for over 40 years, initiating, creating and implementing joint art programs; leading concepts of a joint society in the field of art and enabling a space and stage for art that reflects the diverse and complex society in which we live.
The Joint Art Center strives to influence the world of art, culture and Israeli society by exploring various Israeli narratives, studying and making art accessible to all communities in Israel, and curating quality exhibitions that give a platform to Jewish and Arab artists and bring to light the relations between the two societies on their various levels.
Givat Haviva is a civic organization for social change that works to promote a joint society for Jews and Arabs in Israel and to strengthen a democratic and prosperous society for all Israeli citizens.
